What to Expect When Working with Fair & Co CPAs

Communication 

  • Email Communication: Email is our primary and preferred method of communication because it allows us to respond efficiently and maintain a clear record of important information.
  • Phone & Virtual Meetings: We are happy to
    schedule phone calls, virtual meetings, or in-person meetings upon request.
  • Scheduling: Contact our team to schedule a meeting or call.
  • Note: Scheduled meetings and phone calls may be billed separately from tax return preparation and other services.

Proposals & Engagement Letters 

  • Annual Engagements: Each year, clients receive an engagement letter and proposal outlining the services we will provide, along with the associated fees.
  • Electronic Signatures: Engagement letters and proposals must be reviewed and electronically signed before services can begin.

Services & Deadlines 

  • Tax Return Deadlines: We generally accept individual tax returns until early March for the April 15 filing deadline, depending on our capacity.
  • Capacity Limitations: During busy periods, we may limit new tax engagements. If capacity is reached, we will notify clients as soon as possible.
  • Tax Extensions: We automatically file extensions for clients engaged with us who have not filed by April 15, when applicable.
